A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM (LAP) AGREEMENT (No.
448134-1-58-01) FOR BELL AVENUE FROM SOUTH 25TH STREET TO
SUNRISE BOULEVARD AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Department of Transportation has awarded the County funding from Federal Highway Administration(FHWA)
to place a 6 foot wide sidewalk, along with drainage improvements for approximately 0.4-mile section, along the
south of Bell Avenue from South 25th Street to Sunrise Blvd.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the LAP agreement (No.446076-1-58-01)
with the Department of Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the LAP agreement with the Department of Transportation(No.446076-1-58-
01)to provide funding for Bell Avenue from South 25th Street to Sunrise Blvd.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above-referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
