A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION LOCALLY FUNDED AGREEMENT (No. 231440-5-62-
01/02) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND INSPECTION (CEI)
AND POST DEISGN SERVICES OF CR-712/WEST MIDWAY ROAD FROM
WEST OF JENKINS ROAD TO SELVITZ ROAD AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE
COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT
AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
The Department of Transportation has agreed to accept advanoed funding from the County to provide the DEPARTMENT with
financial assistance in connection with the DEPARTMENTS Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) and Post Design services
toaoceleratethe construction of CR-712/West Midway Road from West of Jenkins Road to Selvitz Road.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution ofthe Locally Funded Agreement (No. 2314405-
62-0102) with the Department of Transportation for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
The Board hereby accepts and approves the Locally Funded agreement with the Department of Transportation (No.
2314405-52-01/02) to provide funding for the (CEI) and Post Design services for the construction of CR-712/West Midway
Road from West of Jenkins Road to Selvitz Road.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
