A RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 22-103 OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, BY TEMPORARILY
RELOCATING THE POLLING LOCATION OF PRECINCT NO. 82
FROM RIVER PLACE ON THE ST. LUCIE LOCATED AT 450 NE
LAZY RIVER PKWY., PORT ST. LUCIE, FL 34983, TO THE
OXBOW ECO-CENTER LOCATED AT 5400 NE ST. JAMES DR,
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL 34983.
WHEREAS, Section 101.001, Florida Statutes, authorizes the Board of County Commissioners
to alter or create precincts for voting in the county, and further authorizes the St. Lucie County Supervisor
of Elections to designate polling places within each precinct;
WHEREAS, on June 7, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 22-
103 establishing the boundaries of Election Precinct No. 82 and establishing the voting place for said
Election Precinct No. 82 to be located at River Place on the St. Lucie, 450 NE Lazy River Pkwy., Port St.
Lucie, FL 34983; and
WHEREAS, the Supervisor has temporarily designated the voting place for Election Precinct No.
82 for the 2022 General Election to be located at the Oxbow Eco-center located at 5400 NE St. James Dr,
Port St. Lucie, Fl 34983, due to mold being discovered at the prior location;
WHEREAS, in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public, the Board
desires to temporarily amend Resolution No. 22-103 to temporarily relocate the voting place for Election
Precinct No. 82 to the OxBow Eco-Center located at 5400 NE St. James Dr, Port St. Lucie for the 2022
General Election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. The voting place for Election Precinct No. 82 shall temporarily be relocated to the
OxBow Eco-Center located at 5400 NE St. James Dr, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983 for the 2022 General
Election.
SECTION 2. Following the 2022 General Election, this Resolution No. 22-208 shall no longer
control and the voting location for Election Precinct 82 shall be as set forth in Resolution No. 22-103.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect on the date of adoption.
