A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND THANKING HOWARD TIPTON FOR HIS
MANY YEARS OF FAITHFUL AND DEDICATED SERVICE AS COUNTY
ADMINISTRATOR IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determinations:
1. Howard Tipton was appointed County Administrator effective November 1, 2014.
After eight (8) years of service to St. Lucie County, the County Administrator, Mr.
Tipton, resigned effective January 12, 2023.
2. The Board would like to recognize and thank Howard Tipton for his even keeled,
professional manner, dedicated service, and thoughtful guidance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida, does hereby recognize and thank Howard Tipton for his eight (8) years of faithful
and dedicated service as County Administrator in St. Lucie County, Florida.
PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED this 13th day of December 2022.
