A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FWC ARTICIAL REEF GRANT AWARD
22008 FOR THE PURPOSE OF VARIOUS CLEANING OF SECONDARY
CONCRETE MATERIALS (e.g. FP&L BOG POLES, DRAINAGE
STRUCTURES, KING POWER PLANT BUILDING FOUNDATIONS) THAT
HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO ST. LUCIE COUNTY AND STOCKPILED BY THE
COUNTY'S ARTIFICIAL REEF CONTRACTOR, McCULLEY MARINE
SERVICES, INC. SUBJECT TO BOARD APPROVAL, THESE MATERIALS
WILL BE DEPLOYED ON THE LEE E. HARRIS MEMORIAL ARTICIAL REEF
SITE. THIS RESOLUTION AUTHORIZES THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZES THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has awarded the County for the purpose of various
cleaning of secondary concrete materials to be deployed on the Lee E. Harris Memorial Artificial Reef Site.
The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Agreement (No. 22008) with the Florida Fish
and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
The Board hereby accepts and approves agreement with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
(FWC) (No. 22008) for the purpose of various cleaning of secondary concrete materials to be deployed on the Lee
E. Harris Memorial Artificial Reef Site.
The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
