A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEDERAL TRANSIT
ADMINISTRATION GRANT AGREEMENT FOR THE FFY22
5307 & 5339 (SUPER GRANT) OPERATING AND CAPITAL
ASSISTANCE FOR THE SAINT LUCIE COUNTY TRANSIT
DEPARTMENT. TO PROVIDE FUNDING ASSISTANCE TO
SAINT LUCIE COUNTY FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
OPERATING AND CAPITAL ASSISTANCE AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE

AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE
COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY
APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Federal Transit Administration has awarded the County funding
assistance for operating and capital assistance (Financial Project No.FL-2023-012-00).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the FFY22 5307 & 5339
(Super Grant) with the Federal Transit Administration for the above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1 . The Board hereby accepts and approves the FFY22 5307 & 5339 (Super
Grant) with the Federal Transit Administration (Financial Project No. FL-2023-012-00) to
provide funding assistance to St. Lucie County for public transportation operating services
and capital.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chair to execute the above-referenced
agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by
approving it as to form and correctness.
