A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.22-124 OF
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE
ANNUAL REPORT SUBMISSION DATE FOR THE
HOMELESS ADVISORY COMMITTEE; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,Florida("Board"),
has made the following determinations:
1. On July 5, 2022, the Board adopted Resolution 22-124 which provided for
submission of an annual report on or before June 1 of each year.
2. The Board desires to amend the annual report submission date to September 30 of
each year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. Section 8, Annual Report, of Resolution No. 22-124 is deleted in its entirety and
replaced with the following Section 8:
8. Annual Report. The Advisory Committee shall submit an annual report
on or before September 30 of each year beginning on September 30, 2023,to the Board of
County Commissioners. The annual report shall include:
a. Recommendations to address homelessness within St. Lucie
County; and
b. Implementation strategy.
2. This resolution shall take effect upon adoption.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
Commissioner Cathy Townsend, Chair AYE
Commissioner Linda Bartz, Vice Chair AYE
Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky AYE
Commissioner Jamie Fowler AYE
Commissioner Larry Leet AYE
PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED this 18th day of April 2023.
