A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION LOCALLY FUNDED AGREEMENT (446170-1-52-01) FOR THE
RESURFACING WORK ALONG SR-615/ S. 25TH STREET FROM N. OF EDWARDS ROAD
TO N. VIRGINIA IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR
TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM
AND CORRECTNESS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. WHEREAS, the COUNTY is providing the DEPARTMENT with financial assistance for certain improvements in
connection with the DEPARTMENT's resurfacing work along SR-615/ S. 2511 Street from N. of Edwards Road to N.
Virginia in St. Lucie County, Florida. (Financial Management (FM) Number 446170-1-52-01, Funded in Fiscal Year
2023/2024); and
2. WHEREAS, the COUNTY has requested that the DEPARTMENT perform the following additional work:
replacement and installation of mast arms lighting. (Financial Management (FM) Number 446170-1-52-02, Funded in
Fiscal Year 2023/2024).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Locally Funded Agreement with the Department of Transportation (No.
446170-1-52-01) to provide funding for the resurfacing work along SR-615/ S. 25th Street from N. of Edwards Road to N.
Virginia and perform the following additional work: replacement and installation of mast arms lighting. (Financial
Management (FM) Number 446170-1-52-02).
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and further authorizes the
County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After a motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
