A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION LOCALLY FUNDED AGREEMENT (No. 231440-3-32-01) FOR
THE CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT (DESIGN) OF A FULL SET OF SIGNED AND
SEALED ROADWAY CONSTRUCTION PLANS FOR THE DEPARTMENTS ADDING
LANES AND RECONSTRUCTION WORK OF WEST MIDWAY ROAD/CR712 FROM
GLADES CUT OFF ROAD TO SELVITZ ROAD IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY
APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Department of Transportation has agreed to accept advanced funding from the County to provide the
DEPARTMENT with financial assistance in connection with the DEPARTMENT'S continued development(design)
of a full set of signed and sealed roadway construction plans for adding lanes and reconstruction work of West
Midway Road/CR712 from Glades Cut Off Road to Selvitz.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Locally Funded Agreement (No.
231440-3-32-01)with the Department of Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Locally Funded agreement with the Department of Transportation (No.
231440-3-32-01)to provide funding for the continued development(design)of a full set of signed and sealed roadway
construction plans for adding lanes and reconstruction work of West Midway Road/CR712 from Glades Cut Off
Road to Selvitz.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above-referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
