A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION LOCALLY FUNDED AGREEMENT (No. 2436331-1-22-02)
FOR THE PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENTAL (PD&E) STUDY OF
JENKINS ROAD FROM CR-712/MIDWAY RD to SR-68/ORANGE AVENUE
AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
The Department of Transportation has agreed to accept advanced funding from the County to accelerate the
Project Development Environmental (PD&E) study of Jenkins Road from CR-712/Midway Rd to
SR-68/Orange Avenue.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution ofthe Locally Funded Agreement (No. 436331-1-
22-02) with the Department of Transportation for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
The Board hereby accepts and approves the Locally Funded agreement with the Department of
Transportation (No. 436331-1-22-02) to provide funding for the Project Development Environmental
(PD&E) study of Jenkins Road from CR-712/Midway Rd to SR-68/Orange Avenue.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and
correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
