Robert Davis
St. Lucie County Housing Finance Authority recognizes Robert Davis, Chair
for serving as a member for 33 years and serving as the Chairman for the last 20
years.
Robert Davis was a United States Navy Veteran and 37-year member of the
United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. During this time, he served as Commanding Officer
and Staff Officer of several Coast Guard Auxiliary organizations.
Mr. Davis spent his entire business career of 33 years with General Electric
Company, including 13 years of managing operations in Spain and England.
Mr. Davis served on the Port St. Lucie City Council from 1988-1992.
He was a member and Chairman of the Metropolitan Planning
Organization.
He co-chaired a campaign which led to creation of the Children's Services
Council.
Mr. Davis served as Chairman of the Treasure Coast Council of Local
Governments.
He was a member of the Fort Pierce Harbor Advisory Committee and the
St. Lucie County Water and Sewer Authority.
Mr. Davis was a member of the Board of Directors of the Humane Society
of St. Lucie County for 28 years, during which time he served as Vice President,
Chairman of the Board and Treasurer.
