A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT #2 FOR LOCALLY
FUNDED AGREEMENT (No. 446076- 1- 58- 01) FOR BELL AVENUE FROM
SOUTH 25TH STREET TO SUNRISE BOULEVARD AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE
COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT
AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Department of Transportation has awarded the County funding from Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)
to place a 6-foot-wide sidewalk, along with drainage improvements for an approximate 0.4-mile section along the
south of Bell Avenue from South 25th Street to Sunrise Boulevard. Supplemental Agreement#2 adds federal funds
to the agreement.
• The Board should authorize and approve the Supplemental Agreement#2 to the LAP agreement(No.
446076- 1- 58-01)with the Florida Department of Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
2. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Supplemental Agreement #2 to the LAP agreement with the Florida
Department of Transportation (No. 446076- 1-58-01)for Bell Avenue from South 25th Street to Sunrise Boulevard.
• The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above-referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second,the vote on this resolution was as follows:

Commissioner Jamie Fowler ABSENT
