A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY FACILITY
USE FEE POLICY FOR ST. LUCIE COUNTY CHARTER SCHOOLS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, (the"Board") has
made the following determinations:
1. On January 19, 2010, the Board of County Commissioners entered into an Amended and
Restated Recreation Facilities Mutual Use Agreement.
2. One February 03, 2015,the Board of County Commissioners and St. Lucie County School
Board entered into the First Amended and Restated Recreation Facilities Mutual Use
Agreement.
3. On March 31, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners and St. Lucie County School
Board entered into the First Amendment to the First Amended and Restated Recreation
Facilities Mutual Use Agreement.
4. On October 20, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution 15-
195 amending the St. Lucie County Facility Use Policy.
5. On April 20, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners and St. Lucie County School
Board entered into a Second Amendment to the Amended and Restated Recreation
Facilities Mutual Use Agreement.
6. St. Luce County Charter Schools are public funded by public dollars.
7. St. Lucie County Charter Schools are desirous of using St. Lucie County Board of County
Commissioners facilities for school activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
That the St. Lucie County Charter Schools shall have access to St. Lucie County
facilities under the same terms and conditions as St. Lucie County School Board as set
forth in Amended and Restated Recreation Facilities Mutual Use Agreement dated
January 19, 2010, First Amended and Restated Recreation Facilities Mutual Use
Agreement dated February 3, 2023, First Amendment to the First Amended and Restated
Recreation Facilities Mutual Use Agreement dated March 31 2015, and Second
Amendment to the First Agreement dated April 20, 2021.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:

Commissioner Linda Bartz, Vice Chair AYE
Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky AYE
Commissioner Jaime Fowler ABSENT
Commissioner Larry Leet AYE
