A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FWC ARTICIAL REEF GRANT AWARD 23052 FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PARTNERING TOGETHER TO CONSTRUCT ONE PATCH REEF CONSISTING
OF AT LEAST 1,500 TONS OF SECONDARY USE CONCRETE WITHIN THE LEE E. HARRIS
MEMORIAL SITE AREA. THIS RESOLUTION AUTHORIZES THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZES THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission(FWC) has awarded the County for the purpose of various
cleaning of secondary concrete materials to be deployed on the Lee E. Harris Memorial Artificial Reef Site.
• The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Agreement(No.23052)with the Florida Fish
and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)for the above-referenced project.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
2. The Board hereby accepts and approves agreement with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission FWC
(No. 23052) for the purpose of various cleaning of secondary concrete materials to be deployed on the Lee E. Harris
Memorial Artificial Reef Site.
• The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above-referenced agreement and further authorizes
the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second,the vote on this resolution was as follows:
