A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
GRANT PROGRAM AGREEMENT(FIN. PROJ. NO.448536-1-94-02) FOR THE PORT OF
FORT PIERCE'S TERMINAL IMPROVEMENTS INITIATIVE AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIR AND COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS
TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded the County funding for the PORT OF FORT
PIERCE'S TERMINAL IMPROVEMENTS INITIATIVE (FIN. PROJ. NO.448536-1-94-02).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Public Transportation Grant Agreement
with the Florida Department of Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts the Public Transportation Grant Agreement with the State of Florida (FIN.
PROJ. NO. 448536-1-94-02) to provide funding for the PORT OF FORT PIERCE'S TERMINAL
IMPROVEMENTS INITIATIVE.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chair to execute the above-referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second,the vote on Resolution 2024-43 was as follows:
