A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE TRANSPORTATION ALTERNATIVES PROGRAM IN ST. LUCIE
COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Grant provides federal funding for up to 80% of
construction costs for sidewalks.
2. Applications for the current funding cycle (FY 2025) have been submitted.
3. County staff has coordinated with the St. Lucie Transportation Planning Organization to identify the need
for sidewalk along Sunrise Boulevard from Bell Avenue to the NSLRWCD Canal 15.
4. The application requires a resolution approved by the Board of County Commissioners in support of the
project.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board does hereby proclaim its support for the Transportation Alternatives program in St. Lucie County,
Florida.
2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
3. This Resolution shall be forwarded to the TPO.
After motion and second,the vote on this resolution was as follows:
