A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AMENDING RESOLUTION 10-245, CONFIRMING THE
AUTHORIZATION FOR THE COUNTY ANDMINISTRATOR
TO APPROVE AND EXECUTE GRANT APPLICATIONS ON
BEHALF OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. On October 7, 1985, the Board adopted Resolution No. 85-212, establishing
the purchasing regulations and procedures for St. Lucie County, Florida, as set forth in
the St. Lucie County Purchasing Policy Manual, which has been amended from time to
time.
2. As amended, Section 16.1 of the Purchasing Manual authorizes the County
Administrator to approve all state, federal and other grant applications after confirming
matching funds, if required, are available and reserved.
3. On October 12, 2010, the Board adopted Resolution No. 10-245 confirming
the authorization for the County Administrator to approve and execute all applications for
state, federal and other grants confirming matching funds, if required, are available and
reserved.
4. From time to time, granting agencies require a separate resolution
authorizing a designated County representative to execute grant applications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The foregoing recitals are ratified and confirmed as true and correct and are
hereby made a part of this Resolution.
2. In accordance with Section 16.1 of the Purchasing Manual, this Board does
hereby authorize the County Administrator to approve and execute all
applications for state, federal and other grants confirming matching funds, if
required, are available and reserved.
3. If any resolutions, or parts of resolutions, are in conflict herewith, this
Resolution shall control to the extent of the conflicting provisions. This
Resolution repeals Resolution 10-245.
4. The provisions of this Resolution are intended to be severable. If any part of
this Resolution is determined to be void or is declared illegal, invalid,

unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this
Resolution shall remain in full force and effect.
5. This resolution shall take effect upon adoption.

after being duly sworn, has personal knowledge of the contents of this affidavit and swears and
deposes as follows:
1. My name is KRISTI WONG, and I am over the age of eighteen years.
2. I am employed by St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners as the Director of
Human Resources and Risk Management. My duties include the management of the
Human Resources and Risk Management Department, including but not limited to, the
management of all personnel records for the employees of the St. Lucie County Board of
County Commissioners.
3. Based on my personal knowledge and a review of the above -referenced personnel
records, I confirm that the current County Administrator for the St. Lucie County Board
of County Commissioners is George Landy.
