A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT#1 TO THE LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM (LAP)
AGREEMENT(No.448308-1-58-01)FOR THE SE WALTON ROAD SIDEWALK(SE
LENNARD ROAD TO SE GREEN RIVER PARKWAY) PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS.
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Department of Transportation has awarded the County Transportation Alternatives Program
(TAP)grant funds for FY 2023/24 for the S.E.Walton Road Sidewalk Improvements Project(SE Lennard Road to SE
Green River Parkway).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Supplemental Agreement#1 to LAP
agreement(No 448308-1-58-01)with the Department of Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Supplemental Agreement#1 to LAP agreement with
the Department of Transportation (No.448308-1-58-01)to provide funding for the S.E.Walton Road Sidewalk
Improvements Project(SE Lennard Road to SE Green River Parkway).
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above-referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second,the vote on Resolution 2024-133 was as follows:
