A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION GRANT (G2S82 FM 448115-1 FOR REDUCTION IN FUNDING AND SCOPE FOR
AEROWEST TAXIWAY CONSTRUCTION AT THE AIRPORT).
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations:
1. The Florida Department of Transportation awarded the County funding for FM 448115-1-94-01 Aerowest Taxiway
Construction pursuant to that Public Transportation Grant Agreement date February 2, 2024("Agreement").
2. The Board desires to authorize and approve execution of a First Amendment to the Grant Agreement providing for a
reduction of funding and scope for the Airport's Aerowest Taxiway Construction with the Florida Department of
Transportation.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts the First Amendment to the Grant Agreement with Florida Department of Transportation
(FM#448115-1-94-01)to provide for a reduction of funding and scope for Treasure Coast International Airport's Aerowest
Taxiway Construction.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above-referenced Amendment and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the Amendment by approving it as to form and correctness.
3. This Resolution shall take effect upon adoption.
After motion and second,the vote on Resolution No. 2024-201 was as follows:
