A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ASSET TRANSFER FROM
THE CENTRAL FLORIDA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION
AUTHORITY D/B/A LYNX TO PROVIDE FIVE FIXED
ROUTE BUSES TO ST. LUCIE COUNTY FOR THE
OPERATION OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE ANY
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE
TRANSFER AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE DOCUMENTS BY
APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority d/b/a LYNX has
offered the County the transfer of five Gillig buses that have been retired from LYNX
service.
2. The Board should authorize and approve the acceptance of the asset transfer
from The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority d/b/a LYNX.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the asset transfer from The
Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority d/b/a LYNX.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chair to execute any necessary documents
for the above-referenced asset transfer and further authorizes the County Attorney to
execute the documents by approving it as to form and correctness.
