A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE TRANSPORTATION
DISADVANTAGED SHIRLEY CONROY GRANT
AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA COMMISSION FOR
THE TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED TO
PROVIDE FUNDING ASSISTANCE TO ST. LUCIE
COUNTY FOR THE PURCHASE OF CAPITAL
EQUIPMENT; TO UNDERTAKE A
TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED SERVICE
PROJECT AS AUTHORIZED BY CHAPTER 427,
FLORIDA STATUTES, AND RULE 41 -2, FLORIDA
ADMINISTRATIVE CODE AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE
THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged has awarded
the County funding assistance for capital equipment through the Shirley Conroy Grant
(Financial Project No. 41065618401.)
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the SFY24/25 Shirley
Conroy Grant with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged for the
above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the SFY24/25 Shirley Conroy
Grant with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (Financial Project
No 41065618401) to provide funding assistance to St. Lucie County for capital equipment.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chair to execute the above-referenced
agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by
approving it as to form and correctness.
