A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE(NATURAL
RESOURCES CONSERVATION SERVICES)COOPERATIVE GRANT AGREEMENT(No.
NR254209XXXXC001) FOR THE EASTWOOD CANAL RESTORATION PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY
APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS.
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has awarded the County(TAP)grant funds for FY 2025/26 for
the Eastwood Canal Rehabilitation Project.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Grant Agreement(No
NR254209XXXXC001)with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the above-referenced project.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Grant Agreement with the U.S. Department of
Agriculture(No. NR254209XXXXC001)to provide funding for the Eastwood Canal Restoration Project.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above-referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second,the vote on Resolution 2025-67 was as follows:
