A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE FFY25 FEDERAL
TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION SECTION 5339 BUS AND
BUS FACILITIES DISCRETIONARY GRANT
APPLICATION AND CONFIRMING MATCHING FUNDS
FOR THE GRANT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,
has made the following determinations:
1 . The Board supports the FFY 25 Federal Transit Administration Section
5339 Bus and Bus Facilities Discretionary Grant application for the St. Lucie County
Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility.
2. The Board confirms that a local match has been approved in the Transit
budget for the Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility.
3. The Board confirms that St. Lucie County owns the property where the
future Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility will be located and that the
approximate value of the property is $2,000,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby certifies that matching funds are available for the FFY25
Section 5339 Bus and Bus Facilities Grant application for the Transit Operations and
Maintenance Facility.
2. The Board hereby certifies their support for the future Transit Operations
and Maintenance Facility and the FFY25 Section 5339 Bus and Bus Facilities Grant
application for the Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility.
3. The Board hereby authorizes the Chair to execute any document
necessary and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by
approving it as to form and correctness.
