A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
AGENCY PROJECT GRANTS THROUGH THE FLORIDA DIVISION OF
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM
FEDERALLY FUNDED SUBAWARD AND GRANT AGREEMENTS FOR
EMERGENCY GENERATORS AT SANDS LAKESIDE LIFT STATION
(PROJECT NUMBER 4680-020-R, CONTRACT# H1205), SANDS
OCEANSIDE LIFT STATION (PROJECT NUMBER 4680-026-R,
CONTRACT# H1206), AND BRYN MAWR LIFT STATION (PROJECT 4680-
022-R, CONTRACT# H1219) AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENTS AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE
COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENTS BY APPROVING
THEM AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determinations:
1. The Florida Division of Emergency Management has awarded the County funding
for emergency generators at Sands Lakeside Lift Station, Sands Oceanside Lift Station, and Bryn
Mawr Lift Station.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the grant agreements with
the Florida Division of Emergency Management for the above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves grant agreements (No. H1205, H1206
and H1219) with the Florida Division of Emergency Management to provide funding for
emergency generators at Sands Lakeside Lift Station, Sands Oceanside Lift Station, and Bryn
Mawr Lift Station.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above-referenced
agreements and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreements by
approving them as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 2025-163 was as follows:
