Good afternoon,
The Fire District does not find it necessary to extend the burn ban at this time due to recent rainfall. We
will continue to monitor conditions closely and will provide updates should circumstances change and a
burn ban become warranted in the future. Thank you and feel free to contact me if you have any
questions.

Ron,
As discussed during our phone conversation, the Fire District is formally requesting the issuance of a
burn ban effective immediately and remaining in place until further notice. This request follows
coordination and discussions with our partner agencies regarding the current extremely dry conditions,
the elevated wildfire potential, and the significant hazards these conditions present to our community.
Attached is the formal request submitted on behalf of Chief Lee and the St. Lucie County Fire District.
Thank you, and please do not hesitate to contact me if any additional information is needed.
