A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM (LAP) SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT # 1 (No. 453491-1-
58-01) FOR THE ST. JAMES DRIVE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY (NE ROYCE AVENUE TO
NE LAZY RIVER PARKWAY) PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE
THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Department of Transportation has awarded the County Transportation Alternatives Program
(TAP) grant funds for FY 2025/26 for the St. James Drive Pedestrian Walkway (NE Royce Avenue to NE Lazy River
Parkway). Supplemental Agreement #1 decreases federal funds to the agreement.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the LAP supplement agreement #1
(453491-1-58-01) with the Department of Transportation for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Supplemental Agreement #1 with the Department of
Transportation (453491-1-58-01) for the St. James Drive Pedestrian Walkway project (NE Royce Avenue to NE Lazy
River Parkway).
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 2026-110 was as follows:
