A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 00-83
(WHICH PROHIBITED THE LENDING OF ANY COUNTY
EQUIPMENT AND/OR SUPPLIES ETC. TO ANY
INDIVIDUAL, GROUP, PRIVATE BUSINESS, CLUB,
ORGANIZATION, OR ANYONE ELSE OTHER THAN TO
COUNTY APPOINTED COMMITTEES AND OTHER
GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES AND THEIR AGENCIES;
EXCEPT IN TIMES OF EMERGENCIES AT WHICH TIME
WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION MUST BE OBTAINED BY
THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR OR HIS
DESIGNEE); BY ADDING THE STIPULATION THAT NO
ONE IS EXEMPT, INCLUDING OTHER GOVERNMENTAL
ENTITIES, FROM PAYING THE RENTAL FEE AS PER
THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR USE OF THE MSM3600
SHOWMASTER MOBILE SOUND SHELL STAGE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations:
1. On April 11, 2000, this Board adopted Resolution No. 00-83 (which prohibited the
lending of any County equipment and/or supplies etc., to any individual, group, private business,
club, organization, or anyone else other than to County appointed Committees and other
governmental entities and their agencies; except in times of emergencies at which time written
authorization must be obtained by the St. Lucie County Administrator or his designee).
2. Due to the amount of money invested by the County for the purchase of the mobile stage,
and the high volume of requests anticipated to use the stage, it is necessary to amend Resolution No.
00-83 by adding the stipulation that no one is exempt, including other governmental entities, from
paying the rental fee as per the fee schedule for use of the MSM3600 Showmaster Mobile Sound
Shell Stage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida:
1. This Board does hereby amend Resolution No. 00-83 by adding the stipulation that no one
is exempt, including other governmental entities, from paying the rental fee as per the fee schedule
for use of the MSM3600 Showmaster Mobile Sound Shell Stage.
2. Except as amended herein, the remaining portions of Resolution No. 00-83 shall remain
in full force and effect.
