A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PERMIT FEE FOR
SPECIAL REVIEW AND SITING CRITERIA TO BE PAID
BY THE APPLICANT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
AN ELECTRIC GENERATOR PLANT IN ST. LUCIE
COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations:
1. Pursuant to Section 11.12.00 of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code, a schedule
of fees may be established by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners in order to cover
the costs of technical and administrative activities.
2. This Board believes it is in the best interest of the health, safety and public welfare of the
citizens of St. Lucie County to establish a permit fee for special review and siting criteria to be paid
by the applicant for the construction of an electric generator plant in St. Lucie County, FlSrida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida:
1. This Board does hereby establish a base permit fee of Ten Thousand and 00/100
($10,000.00) Dollars for special review and siting criteria to be paid by the applicant for the
construction of an electric generator plant in St. Lucie County, Florida. If additional expertise is
needed as determined by the County, the applicant shall pay an additional fee not to exceed an
additional ten thousand and 0/100 ($10,000.00) dollars.
2. This resolution shall take effect upon adoption.
