RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A NO-PASSING ZONE
~FOR NORTHBOUND AND SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC
t~-~'~ ON OLEANDER AVENUE FROM THE INTERSECTION
OF ANITA STREET TO 1340' NORTH OF CORAL
STREET IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County
has made the following determinations,
1. Section 316.008(1 )(I), Florida
no-passing zones.
Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,
Statutes, authorizes the Board to designate
2. The Road & Bridge Division's Traffic Operations Section of the Public Works
Department has recommended that a no-passing zone be designated for Northbound and
Southbound traffic on OleanderAvenue and that no-passing signs be erected on Oleander
Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County Florida:

point at the South of the South Right-of-way of Anita Street Southward
North of the North Right-of-Way of Coral Street for a total distance of

Northward to the South Right-of-Way of Anita Street for a total distance of 8/10th of a mile.
3. The St. Lucie County Road and Bridge Manager is hereby directed to erect
no-passing signs for Northbound and Southbound traffic on Oleander Avenue from the

intersection of Anita Street to a point 1340' North of Coral Street. The designated
no-passing zone will adjoin an existing no-passing zone from Anita Street Northward to an
existing no-passing zone from 1340' North of Coral Street Southward.
