WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget for St. Lucie
County, the actual fund balance for each fund as of September 30, 2001 was determined and, certain revenue estimates
were revised and,
WI:IEREAS, the adopted budget reflects the estimated amounts rather than the actual fund balance forward mounts,
and, the preliminary revenue estimates,
WItEREAS, it is accepted financial practice to amend the adopted budget to reflect the actual fund balance forward
amounts, and, where necessary, revise revenue estimates and,
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution
to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Co'unty Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in
meeting assembled this 25h day of June, 2002, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, that such funds in the
form of actual beginning fund balances are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2001-2002, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as reflected in attachment "A", which is incorporated as p,'u't of this resolution.
