WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida has made the following determinations:

1. On October 14, 1997, at the request of the Supervisor of
Elections of St. Lucie County, the board adopted Resolution No. 97-
206 which amended Resolution No. 96-152 by subdividing Election
Precinct 19 and creating Election Precinct 1-19; and changing the
polling locations for Election Precincts 25, 53, and 70.
2. Resolution No. 97-206 should be amended by subdividing
Election Precinct 6 and creating Election Precinct 88, subdividing
Election Precinct 7 and creating Election Precinct 78 and 81,
subdividing Election Precinct 8 and creating Election Precinct 79
and 80, subdividing Election Precincts 49 and 50 and creating
Election Precinct 83, subdividing Election Precinct 67 and creating
Election Precinct 85 and 87, subdividing Election Precinct 68 and
creating Election Precinct 82; further by incorporating Election
Precinct 2 into Election Precinct 24 and 60, incorporating Election
Precinct 3 into Election Precinct 10 and 16, incorporating Election
Precinct 4 into Election Precinct 17, incorporating Election

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, as follows:
Section 1. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 1 are
hereby altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of Emerson Avenue
and North Boulevard; thence run east along
centerline of North Boulevard to the intersection
of Eastwood Drive; thence run south along
centerline of said Eastwood Drive to the
intersection of Turnpike Feeder Road; thence run
southwesterly along centerline of said Turnpike
Feeder Road to the intersection of Indrio Road;
thence run west along centerline of said Indrio
Road to the intersection of Emerson Avenue;
thence run north along centerline of said Emerson
Avenue to the point of the beginning.
The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 1 shall be
at the Lakewood Park Village Hall, 7508 Jennings Way, St. Lucie
County, Florida 34951.
Section 2. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 6 are hereby
altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline
of Kings Highway and St. Lucie Boulevard; thence
run east along said centerline of St. Lucie
Boulevard to the intersection of Keen Road;
thence run south along said centerline of Keen
Road to the intersection with the centerline of
Orange Avenue; thence run east along said
centerline of Orange Avenue to the intersection
with the centerline of South 33rd Street; thence
run south along said centerline of South 33rd
Street and project a line to intersect with the
centerline of Virginia Avenue; thence run west
along said centerline Virginia Avenue to the
intersection with the centerline of Okeechobee
Road; thence run westerly along said centerline

thence run north along said limit line of the

Jenkins Road; thence run south along said
centerline of Jenkins Road to the intersection
with the centerline of Okeechobee Road; thence

Road to the intersection with the centerline of
Interstate 95; thence run northerly along said
centerline of Interstate 95 to the intersection
of Colburn Road; thence run west along said

The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 6 shall be at

Section 3. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 7 are
hereby altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of Delaware Avenue
and U.S. #1 run south along centerline of said
U.S. # 1 to the intersection of Georgia Avenue;
thence run west along centerline of said Georgia
Avenue to the intersection of South l0th Street;
thence run south along centerline of said South
l0th Street to the intersection of Ohio Avenue;
thence run east along centerline of said Ohio
Avenue to the intersection of U.S. #1; thence
run south along centerline of said U.S. #1 to
the intersection of Virginia Avenue; thence run
west along centerline of said Virginia Avenue to
the intersection of South 33rd Street; thence run
north along centerline of said South 33rd Street

Section 4. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 8 are
hereby altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of Midway Road and
U.S. #1 run south along centerline of said U.S.
#1 to the intersection of Saeger Avenue; thence
run west along centerline of said Saeger Avenue
to the city limit line of Port St. Lucie; thence
run north and west along said city limit line of
Port St. Lucie to the intersection of Midway
Road; thence run east along centerline of said
Midway Road to the point of the beginning.
The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 8 shall be
at the Midway Road Church of Christ, 3040 W. Midway Road, St.
Lucie County, Florida 34981.
Section 5. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 9 are
hereby altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the north
county limit line of St. Lucie and the
centerline of the Indian River run south along
centerline of said Indian River to the
intersection of the city limit line of Ft.
Pierce; thence run easterly, northerly, and
southeasterly along said city limit line of Ft.
Pierce to the intersection of centerline of Ft.
Pierce Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean; thence run
north along the eastern shoreline of Hutchinson
Island to the north county limit line of St.
Lucie; thence run west along said north county
limit line of St. Lucie to the point of the
beginning.
The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 9 shall be
at the Radisson Beach Resort, 2600 North A-I-A, St. Lucie County,
Florida 34949.
Section 6. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 10 are
hereby altered to incorporate a portion of Precinct #3 and fixed to
comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at th~ intersection of U.S. #1 and
Seaway Drive; thence run east along the
centerline of said Seaway Drive to the
intersection of Indian River Drive; thence run
south along the centerline of said Indian River
Drive to the intersection of Savannah Road;
thence run west along said centerline of Savannah
Road; to the intersection of U.S. #1; thence run
north along the centerline of said U.S. #1 to the
point of the beginning.
The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 10 shall be
at the American Legion Hall, 810 South U.S. #1, St. Lucie County,
Florida 34950.
Section 7. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 11 are
hereby altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the centerline of the north line of
Section 13, Township 36S, Range 40E; thence run
south along the center of the Savannas Waterway
to intersect with the centerline of the north
city limit line of the City of Port St. Lucie;
thence run east along said city limit line to
intersect with the West Coast of the
Intracoastal Waterway; thence; project a line
90° east to the center of the Intracoastal
Waterway; thence run north along said
Intracoastal Waterway to the intersection of the
north line of Section 18, Township 36S, Range
41E; thence run west along said section line to
the point of the beginning.
The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 11 shall be
at the Walton Road Baptist Church, 2001 SE Walton Road, St. Lucie

Section 8. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 12 shall
remain as previously fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the centerline of intersection of
State Road No. 5, U.S. Highway No. 1 at a point
on the South line of Section 10, Township 36
South, Range 40 East; thence run Easterly along
the South line of said Section 10 and Section 11
and 12 of Township 36S, Range 40E and the south

its intersection with the centerline of the
Intracoastal Waterway; thence run northwesterly
with said Centerline of the Intracoastal
Waterway to a point at its intersection of the

remain as previously fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines
of Orange Avenue and Jenkins Road; thence run
northerly along the west section lines for
Sections 7 and 6 of Township 35S, Range 40E to
the intersection of the centerline of Canal C-25
(Belcher Canal); thence run easterly along said
centerline of Canal C-25 (Belcher Canal) to the
intersection of north 25th Street; thence run
south on north 25th Street to the north city
limit line of the City of Fort Pierce; thence
run west on said line to the northwest corner of
the City Limit line of the City of Fort Pierce;
thence continue southerly along the west city
limit line of the City of Fort Pierce to the
intersection of the centerline of Orange Avenue;
thence run westerly along said centerline of

Section 11. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 15 are
hereby altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the southwest
corner of Section 11, Township 37S, Range 41E;
thence run north along an extended line lying on
the centerline of the Indian River to the
northwest corner of Section 6, Township 36S,
Range 41E; thence run east to a point lying on
the western shoreline of Hutchinson Island and
Little Mud Creek; thence run northeasterly to

Range 41E; thence run south along an extended
line running parallel with the eastern shoreline

Section 12. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 16 are
hereby altered to incorporate a portion of Precinct #3 and fixed
to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of Savannah Road
and Indian River Drive; thence run north along
centerline of said Indian River Drive to the
intersection of Seaway Drive; thence run west
along centerline of said Seaway Drive to the
intersection of U.S. #1; thence run north
along centerline of said U.S. #1 to the
intersection of Old Dixie Highway; thence run
north along centerline of said Old Dixie
Highway to the centerline of the city limit
line of the City of Ft. Pierce; thence run
easterly, northerly and southeasterly along
said city limit line of Ft. Pierce to the

hereby altered to incorporate all of Precinct #4 and fixed to
comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of Avenue Q and
North 17th Street run south along centerline of
said North 17th Street to the intersection of
Orange Avenue; thence run west along
centerline of said Orange Avenue to the
intersection of the city limit line of Ft.
Pierce; thence run north along centerline of
said city limit line of Ft. Pierce to the
intersection of Avenue Q; thence run east
along centerline of said Avenue Q to the
intersection of North 25th Street; thence run
north along centerline of said North 25th
Street to the intersection of the north city

Section 14. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 18 are
hereby altered to incorporate all of Precinct #5 and fixed to
comprise the following area to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of Avenue Q and
North 17th Street; thence run south to the
intersection of Orange Avenue; thence run east
along centerline of said Orange Avenue to the
intersection of U.S.#I; thence run north along
centerline of said U.S. #1 to the intersection
of centerline of the Belcher Canal; thence run
west along centerline of said Belcher Canal to
the intersection of Avenue Q; thence run west
along centerline of said Avenue Q to the point
of the beginning.
The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 18 shall be at

Section 15. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 19 are
hereby altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of Orange
Avenue and U. S. #1; thence run south along
centerline of said U. S. #1 to the
intersection of Delaware Avenue; thence run
west along centerline of said Delaware Avenue
to the intersection of S. 25th Street;
thence; run south along centerline of
said S. 25th Street to the intersection of
Okeechobee Road; thence run southwesterly

remain as previously fixed to comprise the following area,to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the
centerlines of U. S. Highway No. 1 and Prima
Vista Boulevard; thence run southwesterly
along said centerline of Prima Vista Boulevard
to its intersection with the centerline of the
North Fork of the St. Lucie River, Section 21,
Township 36 South, Range 40 East; thence
meander southeasterly to a point along said
centerline of the North Fork of the St. Lucie
River; thence project a line to intersect the
east limit line of the City of Port St. Lucie,
Section 27, of said Township and Range; thence
run southerly and easterly along said city

intersection with the centerline of U. S.

Section 19. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 23 shall
remain as previously and fixed to comprise the following area, to-
wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline
of Prima Vista Boulevard and the centerline of
the right-of-way of the Florida State Turnpike,
Section 30, Township 36S, Range 40E; thence run
north along said Florida State Turnpike right-
of-way centerline to a point and project a line
east to the centerline of a canal parallel to
Riverside Drive Section 19, said township and
range; meander easterly and northerly along
