LUCIE COUNTY AUTHORIZED TO ELECTRONICALLY FILE THE 49 U.S.C. SECTION 5307 FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION GRANT APPLICATION WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations: This Board is authorized to file applications for transit related grants to the Federal Transit Administration and the Florida Department of Transportation. This Board is authorized to provide public transit services for St. Lucie County under State and Federal Law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA: 1. This Board hereby authorizes the submission of a 49 U.S.C. Section 5307 Grant Application with the Federal Transit Administration for Fiscal Year 01/02. 2. This Board authorizes the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the application and any subsequent award agreement on behalf of the Board. 3. This Board further designates the St. Lucie County Community Services Director/Community Transit Coordinator to electronically execute any and all documents necessary including the application, agreements, assurances, reimbursement invoices, warranties and other documents on behalf of the Board and its Chairman which may be required by the Federal Transit Administration and/or the Florida Department of Transportation. 4. This resolution shall become effective on adoption. After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows: Chairman Douglas Coward Vice Chairman Cliff Barnes Commissioner John D.
