LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based on the testimony and evidence including, but not limited to the staff report, has made the following determinations: Wynne Ranch, presented a petition for a change in zoning from the AG-5 (Agricultural - 1 du/5 acres) Zoning District to the U (Utilities) Zoning District for the property described in Part A below. On August 15, 2002, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property, and recommended that the Board of County Commissioners approve the hereafter described request for a change in zoning from the AG-5 (Agricultural - 1 du/5 acres) Zoning District to the U (Utilities) Zoning District for the property described in Part A below. On September 17, 2002, this Board held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property. The proposed change in zoning is consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan and has satisfied the requirements of Section 11.06.03 of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code. The proposed change in zoning is consistent with the existing and proposed use of property in the surrounding area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida: The proposed change in the Zoning District Classification for that property described asfo,,ows: September 17, 2002 Resolution 02-152 Page 1 ~z~z 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 A parcel of land lying in the southeast one-quarter of Section 5, Township 35 South, Range 37 East, St. Lucie County, Florida, and being more particularly described as follows: Commence at the Southeast corner of said Section 5; thence South 87°57'45'' West, ss s basis of bearings, along the South line of said Section 5, a distance of 2672.00 feet to the Southwest corner of said Southeast 1/4 of Section 5; thence North 00°27'15'' East along the west line of said Southwest 1/4 of Section 5, a distance of 1894.32 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continue North 00°27'15'' East along said West line, a distance of 656.70 feet; thence South 89°19'16'' East, departing said west line, a distance of 656.70 feet; thence South 00°27'15'' West, a distance of 656.70 feet; thence North 89 °19'16" West, a distance of 656.70 feet to the Point of Beginning. Subject to an easement for Ingress and Egress and Public Utilityand Drainage over the west 25 feet thereof. Containing 9.9 acres, more or less. Tax Id. No. 2105-111-0001-000/6 (Location: North side of Orange Avenue, approximately 5 3/4 miles west of Minute Maid Road then north one mile from the entrance to Wynne Ranch.) owned by Wynne Ranch, is hereby changed from the AG-5 (Agricultural - 1 du/5 acres) Zoning District to the U (Utilities) Zoning District as depicted in the attached Exhibit A. The St. Lucie County Community Development Director is hereby authorized and directed to cause the change to be made on the Official Zoning Map of St. Lucie County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this resolution.
