HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-315RESOLUTION NO. 02-315 A RESOLUTION APPROVIN; THE CONVEYANCE OF LANb BY QUIT-CLATM DEEb TO THE HOLIDAY PINE5 PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCTAT~ON, TNC. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has mode the following determinations: 1. St. Lucie County currently owns property in the Holiday pines subdivision which is described as follows: TRACT B. HOLIDAY PINES SUBDIVISION PHASE II-A, os recorded in Plot Book 20, Page 7, St. Lucie County, Florida. SUBJECT TO o permanent Easement in favor of the Grantor to use the parcel for public utility and stormwater purposes. hereinafter referred to os the "Property"; and, The Property was donated to the County by plot dedication; ond, 3. The Holiday Pines Property Owners Association, Inc., hereinafter referred to os the "Association", a not-for-profit corporation, has requested the County to convey the Property to the Association by quit claim deed to allow the Association to landscape and beautify the Property; and, 4. The County has determined that the County does not need to own the Property as long os the County retains a permanent easement to use the property for public utility and stormwoter purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEb BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: 1. The Chairman and the Deputy Clerk are authorized to sign a quit claim deed conveying the Property to the Association subject to a permanent easement in favor of the County allowing the County to use the Property for public utility and stormwater purposes. 2. This Resolution shall take effect upon adoption. After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Chairman Cliff Barnes Vice-Chairman Paula A.
