THE RESOLUTION WILL INCREASE
THE FINE AND FORFEITURE FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County (Board) has made the following determination:
1. The terms of the U.S. Department of Justice Local Law Enforcement Block Grant award document
require a public hearing to be held prior to the acceptance of the grant funds, and
2. On August 10th, 2002, legal notice of public hearing was published in The Fort Pierce Tribune
pursuant to Chapter 129.06, Section (2) (f), Florida Statues for the purpose of setting the time, date, place of the public
hearing and
3. On August 13, 2002 a public hearing was held to accept comments concerning the proposed
amendment to the Budget for the Board for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, and
4. The resolution will increase the Fine and Forfeiture Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
The following budgetary fund is hereby increased for the Fiscal Year 2001-2002:
REVENUES

Dept. of Justice $63,926
APPROPRIATIONS
107128-2110-591900-200
Transfer to Sheriff $63,926
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
