A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZIN~ AND APPROVIN~
EXECUTION OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AND ST. LUCZE COUNTY JOINT
PARTICIPATION A~REEMENT FOR AN ADDITIONAL
CONNECTION BETWEEN 5R-68 (ORAN6E AVENUE) AND
JENKINS ROAD (A COUNTY ROAD) BY THE ST. LUCIE
COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; AND
AUTHORIZIN6 THE CHAIRMAN OF THE ST. LUCIE
COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO
EXECUTE THE A6REEMENT; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZIN6
THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE A6REEMENT
BY APPROVIN6 IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Boar'd of County Commissioner's of St. Lucie County, Flor'ida, has made
the following deter'minotions:
1. The Depor'tment and the County ar'e desir'ous of having the 5tote make cer'toin
impr'ovements in connection with 5tote FM Number' 230108-1-52-01 at 5R-68 (Or'ange
Avenue) and Jenkins Rood (o County Rood), within the or'iginol Pr'oject limits.
2. This Boar'd should author'ize and appr'ove execution of the ,Taint Por'ticipation
Agr'eement with the 5tote of Flor'ida Depor'tment of Tr'anspor'totion to pr'ovide for' an
additional connection between 5R-68 (Or'ange Avenue) and ,Tenkins Road (o County Road).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Boar'd of County Commissioner's of St.
Lucie County, Flor'ida:
1. This Boor'd does her'eby outhor'ize and appr'ove execution of the Joint Par'ticipotion
Agr'eement with the 5tote of Flor'ida Depor'tment of Tr'anspor'totion to pr'ovide for' on
additional connection between 5R 68 (Or'ange Avenue) and ~Tenkins Road (a County Road).
2. The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners and the Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute the ,Taint Participation Agreement approved by this resolution; and
further, the County Attorney is hereby authorized to execute the agreement by approving
it as to form and correctness.
