A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ST.
LUCIE COUNTY SHARED SERVICES
NETWORK EXECUTIVE ROUNDTABLE IN
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The St. Lucie County Shared Services Network Executive Roundtable was formed
in October of 1994 and is a Network of policymakers and other stakeholders that have
created an infrastructure where problem-solving can effectively occur.
2. The Shared Services Network is a "way of work" that accomplishes system
change. The mission is to accomplish system change that results in improved outcomes for
youth in our schools and in the community.
3. The Executive Roundtable has developed and continues to follow a comprehensive
plan for reducing juvenile delinquency and violence. The Current efforts of this executive
body includes the completion of a community resource assessment which has been
instrumental in identifying significant gaps in how we are serving our youth.
4. As a result, Executive Roundtable members have committed themselves and their
agencies to policies, activities and best practices that will fill these gaps, improve our
system of care, protect our youth and build the quality of life for our youth and families.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. This Board does hereby support the St. Lucie County Shared Services Network
Executive Roundtable in St. Lucie County, Florida.
2. This Board urges the citizens of St. Lucie County to recognize the
accomplishments of this dedicated group of people and participate in making St. Lucie
County a better place for our youth.
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
