LUClE COUNTY, FLORIDA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based on the testimony and evidence, inc uding, but not limited to the staff report, has made the following determinations: Robert and Jean Trenarv, presented a petition for a change in zoning from the AG-1 (Agricultural - 1 du/acre) to the IH (Industrial, Heavy) Zoning District for the property described below. On November 21,2C02, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property, and recommended that the Board of County Commissioners deny a change in zoning from the AG-1 (Agricultural - 1 du/acre) to the IH (Industrial, Heavy) Zoning District for the property described in Part A below and instead recommended a change in zoning to the IL (Industrial, Light) Zoning District. On December 3, 20£2, this Board held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least 10 da~,s prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property. The proposed chan.c e in zoning has satisfied the requirements of Section 11.06.03 of the St. Lucie Coun[y Land Development Code and is consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan. The proposed chan~]e in zoning is consistent with the existing and proposed use of property in the surro Jnding area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida: The proposed Change in the Zoning District Classification from the AG-1 (Agricultural - I du/acre) to the IL (Industrial, Light) Zoning District for that property described as follows: A PARCEL OF LAND LYING IN SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 34 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: File No.: RZ-02-021 Resolution 02-303 December 3, 2002 Page 1 DR BOOK 175B PAGE 1104 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 THE NORTHWEST % OF THE SOUTHWEST ¼ OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 34 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, L-=SS THE SOUTH 200 FEET OF THE WEST 250 FEET AS CONTAINED IN DEEE IN OR BOOK 79, PAGE t79, PUBLIC RECORDS OF ST. LUClE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND LESS ALL ROAD AND CANAL RIGHTS-OF-WAY. CONTAINING 34.33 ACRES, MORE OR LESS. (Tax ID#: 1336-320-0000-000/8) (Location: Southeast corner of the intersection of Kings Highway (SR 713) and F.P.F.W.M.D. Canal No. 1) owned by Robert and Jean Trenary, is hereby approved. The St. Lucie Cour~y Community Development Director is hereby authorized and directed to cause the change to be made on the Official Zoning Map of St. Lucie County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this resolution.
