LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie role that swimming and aquatic-related activities relate to good physical and mental health and enhance the quality of life for all people. 4. St. Lucie County is extremely proud of the swimming facilities and aquatic programs of this County and their contributions to providing to all ages a healthy place to recreate, a place to learn and grow, to swim, build self-esteem, confidence and sense of self-worth, which contributes to the quality of life in our community. This Board does hereby proclaim July 13, 2003, through July 19, 2003, as "AQUATIC WEEK" in St. Lucie County, Florida. 2. This Board urges the citizens of St. Lucie County to support copy of this resolution to Ms. Lili McGovern, Manager of Services, National Recreation and Park Association, 650 W. and promote this observance.
