WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget for
St. Lucie County, certain grant not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget has become available fi.om
the Florida Dept. of Community Affairs in form of Emergency Deployable Interoperable Communication
System valued at $210,000.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (c[~, Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Comrmssioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ?rESOLVED by the Board of County comrmssioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled th.s 8th day of July, 2003, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, such
funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2002-2003, and the County's budget is hereby amended as
follows:
