A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING
EXECUTION OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT
OF TRANS?ORTATION AND ST. LUCIE COUNTY
ROADWAY LIGHTING SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
AGREEMENT ALONG US#1 (STATE ROAD #5), FROM 500
FEET SOUTi~t OF TAYLOR CREEK BRIDGE AT AVENUE O
TO NORTH OF THE NORTH CAUSEWAY (STATE ROAD
AIA) INTER,SECTION, FINANCIAL PROJECT ID NUMBER
404843-1-52-}1, BY THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIRMAN OF THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE
COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY
APPROVING IT AS TO LEGAL FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations:
1. There exists or is a ~out to be installed on the state highway system a lighting system more
particularly described in Exkibit "A" of the Roadway Lighting System Maintenance Agreement.
2. The Department and the County are desirous of entering into an agreement pursuant to
the provisions of Rule Chapter 14-46 of the Florida Administrative Code providing for the
maintenance of the Roadway Lighting System.
3. This Board should authorize and approve execution of the Roadway Lighting System
Maintenance Agreement wifa the State of Florida Department of Transportation for the maintenance
of the Roadway Lighting System along US#1 (State Road #5) from 500 feet south of Taylor Creek
Bridge at Avenue O to nort? of the North Causeway (State Road A1A) intersection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida:
1. This Board does hereby authorize and approve execution of the State of Florida
Department of Transportation and St. Lucie County Roadway Lighting System Maintenance
Agreement along US#1 (State Road #5) from 500 feet south of Taylor Creek Bridge at Avenue O
to north of the North Causeway (State Road A1A) intersection, Financial Project ID Number
404843-1-52-01.
2. The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners and the Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute the Roadway Lighting System Maintenance Agreement approved by this resolution; and
further, the County Attorney i ~ hereby authorized to execute the agreement by approving it as to legal
form and correctness.
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
