WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget for
St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from the Florida Dept. of Community Affairs in form of a $100,000 grant to develop a Continuity of
Operations Plan and to revise the Terrorism Annex Plan.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and ex >end such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled th s 8th day of July, 2003, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, such
funds are hereby appropriated fcr the fiscal year 2002-2003, and the County's budget is hereby amended as
follows:
