WHEREAS, the Treasure Coast Remote Control Club, ];nc., a not for profit
organization, has requested the use of the field at 1302 Virginia Avenue, Fort
Pierce, Florida, 34982 for the operation of a remote control car racing facility.
WHEREAS, 5action 125.38, Florida Statutes requires that any not for
profit organization wishing to use any real or personal property that may be owned
by any county or this ~ate or by its board of county commissioners, for public or
community interest and welfare, may apply to the board of county commissioners
for a conveyance or lease of such property.
WHEREAS, 5action 125.38 further states that if it is determined by the
Board of County Camm ssioners that such property is required for such use and is
not needed for county purposes, the Board con allow the use of such property.
NOW, THERE=ORE, BE ;ZT RE5OLVEb by the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Lucia County, Florida:
z. The Board does ~ereby grant permission to use the facility at 1302 Virginia
Avenue, Fort Pierce, Florida, 34982 , Fort Pierce, to the Treasure Coast Remote
Control Club, ];nc. for t~e operation of a remote control car racing facility.
2. The term of t~is use shall be for a three year period, unless otherwise
terminated and may be renewed annually.
3. The Board furthe- determines that for the use of the facility, the Treasure
Coast Remote Control Cub, ]~nc. Shall pay the sum one dollar and 00/100 ($1.00).
