A RESO.UTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS FOR ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
ESTABLISHING THE SCHEDULE OF WATER AND
WASTEWATER RATES, FEES AND CHARGES FOR
CUSTOMERS SERVED BY ST. LUCIE COUNTY AIRPORT
UTILITY DISTRICT AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIYE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Eoard of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, Florida, (the
"Board"), on the advice and recommendation of its utility staff and technical advisors, finds that
the Water and Wastewater Utility Rates, Fees and Charges set forth in the attached Schedule are
just and equitable and in the public interest; and
WHEREAS, the Board provided written notice of the proposed Schedule of Rates, Fees
and Charges to the utility customers within the St. Lucie County Airport Utility District which
notice set forth the date, tme and place of the meeting of the Board at which such proposed
revisions would be considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges for the St. Lucie County
Airport Utility District attached to this Resolution is hereby adopted.
Section2. Thts Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage. The
Schedule of Rates, Fees an:l Charges for the St. Lucie County Airport Utility District adopted by
this Resolution shall be ap'>lied commencing with the invoices generated in the Ufility's August
billing cycle.

If the meter is found to registe~ in excess of the accuracy limits prescribed by the Utility, the deposit will be
refunded. But if below such ~ccuracy limit, the deposit will be retained by the District as a service charge
for conducting the test.

ADJUSTABLE EQUIVALENT RESIDENTIAL CONNECTION FEES AND CHARGES
The water capacity fees for any connection shall be initially determined by summing the water flows
that apply to the connection, c ividing that total by 250 gpd, and multiplying the resulting number of ERCs
by the Base Facility Charges specified by 1 ERC. However, the minimum water capacity fees for any
connection shall be the fee seecified for 1 ERC. If the average daily flow for a connection during any
consecutive 12-month period is greater than the average daily flow for which capacity fees have been paid,
the additional Base Facility C~arges shall be assessed for the excess flow for the next 12 month billing
period. Accounts will be audited annually and if the ERC value is lower then the Base Facility Charge will
be lowered for the next 12 month period. If the average flow during any consecutive 24-month period is
more than 15% greater than .he average daily flow for which capacity fees have been paid, additional
capacity fees shall be assessed for the excess flow. All such additional fees shall be determined by dividing
the total increase in the average daily flow by 250 gpd and multiplying the resulting number of ERCs by the
capacity fee specified for 1 ERC. Once additional capacity is purchased that ERC value cannot be lowered
because the customer will have demonstrated a demand to the system that will have to be supported by
capacity.

CUSTOMER DEPOSITS
APPLICABILITY -
Before rendering service, the County will require a deposit to secure the
payment of bills which shall be non-negotiable and non-transferrable.
AMOUNT
The amount of such deposit shall be an amount at least necessary to cover
charges for service for two billing periods.
