WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget for
St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from the Florida Dept. of Juvenile Justice in form of a $100,000 Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Program
Grant.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (c), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Comm/saioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Comm/ssioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled t.~is 22nd day of fuly, 2003, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes,
such funds are hereby appropria:ed for the fiscal year 2002-2003, and the County's budget is hereby amended
as follows:
