A RESOLLV/ION APPROVING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY AFFAIRS COM/4-u-NITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT
ALLOCATION AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE
THE APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE GP~ANT
ALLOCATION WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AFFAIRS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, has made-~%he following determinations:
This Board is authorized to file the Florida Department of
Community Affairs Community Services Block Grant Application
with the Florida Department of Community Affairs.
NOW,
Commissioners of St.
The Community Services Block Grant uses eighty (80%)
percent of Community Services Block Grant Funds and eighteen
(18%) percen~t in-kind and two(2%)percent match funds.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Lucie County, Florida:
This Board hereby approves the Florida Department of
Communi%y Affairs Community Services Block Grant
Applica%ion with the Florida Department of Community
Affairs for the Federal Fiscal Yea~ 2003/04.
This Board authorizes the Chairman of the Board of
County Commissioners to execute the application on
behalf of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners
and the Treasure Coast Community Action Agency with the
~lori~a Eepartment of Community Affairs in the total amount
of One HLndred Seventy Eight Thousand and Eight-Seven dollars
($178,087) of Community Services Block Grant funds and the
amount of Seventeen Thousand One Hundred Forty-Nine and
68/100 Dollars ($17,149.68) in-kind match and One Thousand
Nine Hundred Five and 52/100 Dollars ($1,905.52) cash funds.
3. This Board authorizes Beth Ryder, Community Services
Director~ to sign any and all agreements, assurances,
reimbursement invoices, warranties, and other documents which
may be required in connection with the application.
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as
