WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County comrmssioners budget for
St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from the National Endowment for Humanities in form of a $24,703 Net Loss Cultural Grant.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d}, Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Comrmssioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and ex )end such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R. ESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 12th day of August, 2003, pursuant to Section I29.06 (d), Florida Statutes,
such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2002-2003, and the County's budget is hereby amended
as follows:
