~e._ ~/ ' A RESOLUT ON ESTABLISHING WEST SECOND STREET
AS ONE-WAY --ASTBOUND IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the 3card of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,
has made the following determinations:
1. Section 316.008 (1)(d), Florida Statues, authorizes the Board to
designate particular highways or roadways under its jurisdiction for use by traffic
moving in one direction.
2. That West Second Street is under St. Lucie County's jurisdiction.
3. After conducting a study on West Second Street, the Road and Bridge
Division of the Public Works Department of St. Lucie County has recommended that
West Second Street, between Elm Avenue and Oleander Avenue, become one-way
Eastbound.
NOW, THERE:ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Lucie County Florida:
1. That West Second Street be one-way Eastbound between Elm Avenue
and Oleander Avenue.
2. The St. Lucie County Road and Bridge Manager is hereby directed to
erect one-way signs on West Second Street.
3. The County Administrator is hereby directed to provide copies of this
resolution to the Sheriff of St. Lucie County and the St. Lucie County Road & Bridge
Manager.
