LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based on the testimony and evidence, including, but not limited to the staff report, has made the following determinations: Eileen and Ernest Vauahan, presented a petition for a change in zoning from the RM-5 (Residential, Multiple-Family - 5 du/acre) Zoning District to the RE-2 (Residential, Estate - 2 du/acre) Zoning District for the property depicted on the attached maps as Exhibit "A" and described below. On February 20, 2003, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on th6 petition, after publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mai all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property, and recommended that the Board of County Commissioners approve a change in zoning from the RM-5 (Re.,idential, Multiple-Family - 5 du/aere) Zoning District to the RE-2 (Residential, Estate - 2 du/acre) Zoning District. On April 1,2003, this Board held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property. The proposed change in zoning has satisfied the requirements of Section 11.06.03 of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code and is consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan. The proposed chan[le in zoning is consistent with the existing and proposed use of property in the surrounding area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida: The proposed Change in the Zoning District Classification from the RM-5 (Residential, Multiple-Family - 5 d J/acre) Zoning District to the RE-2 (Residential, Estate - 2 du/acre) Zoning District for t~at property depicted on the attached maps as Exhibit "A" and File No.: RZ-03-003 April 1,2003 Resolution 03-007 Page I 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 4O 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 described as follows RE-S/D OF SECTION 9 AND 10, TOWNSHIP 37 SOUTH, RANGE 41 EAST. THE NORTH 100 FEET OF THE SOUTH 1,246.09 FEET OF GOVT LOT 4 LYING EAST OF A LINE THAT IS 280.3 FEET WESTERLY OF THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY OF INDIAN RIVER DRIVE - LESS ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY. CONTAINING 0.64 ACRE, MORE OR LESS. (Tax ID~: 4509-801-0011-000/3) (Location: 13775 South Indian River Drive, Jensen Beach) owned by Eileen an¢ Ernest Vaughan, is hereby approved. The St. Lucie Courty Community Development Director is hereby authorized and directed to cause the change to be made on the Official Zoning Map of St. Lucie County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this resolution.
