This information sheet is presented as an aid to assist you in obtaining a zoning clearance before securing an occupational

Class.1 permits for Mobile Food Vendors aie intended for those vendors who operate mobile food service facilities that are
either propelled by self contained nigans"are traiiered from site to site for the purpose of conducting business. These
vendors would typically remain in no one location for more than one or two hours.A Class I permit for the operation of a
Mobile Food Vendor shall be reviewed and treated as a Home Occupation license subject to the following standards:
1. The Community Development Administrator shall not issue a Class I permit until such time as a valid certilleate from
HRS has been supplied indicating that the proposed mobile food vendor is compliant with all minimum health and
safety standards for food service operations.
2. All business activities associated with the operation of the mobile food-dispensing vehicle are to be conducted away
from the aunlicants'home address.
3. The applicant's home address Is to be'used for office facilities only. No retail or wholesale sales;except those
associated with the stocking of the mobile food dispensing vehicle are to be made or transacted on thehome premises.
4. .No person other than members of the family residing on the premises shall be engaged in the conduct of such an
occupation.
.5. No stock in trade shall_be,displayed or sold at the applicant's home address.
-6. The use of the dwelling_unit for the home occupation shall be incidental and subordinate to its use for residential
purposes,and no more than 25 percent of the building floor area shall be used in the conduct of the home occupation.
'7. There shalt bemo outdoor storage of equipment or materials used in the home occupation,except for the.parking of
the mobile.dispensing vehicle provided that the provisions of-.Section 7.10.14 of this Cotte shall not be violated. No
mobile food-dispensing vehicle shall remain.at the home premises"for more that 24 hours,excluding weekends and
legal holidays,unless parked within an enclosed structure.
8. No more than one mobile food-dispensing vehicle shall,be kept at the applicant's borne premises.
9. A Class I permit o .ration may be upgraded to a Class H permit operadon.upon the satisfactory demonstration of
